Now & Next: Launching New Content Can Be Scary

As a content aggregator in mobile, I have to start thinking about upcoming holidays and events months in advance. Right now we are preparing for Halloween. Very few holidays perform well in mobile, but Halloween is the exception. The popularity of Halloween increases year after year.
The growth of video products in mobile in the U.S has been slow compared to Europe, but it’s quickly catching up. In the past three years I have continually tried to push horror movies including cult classics and recent releases into the market place. This year will be by far our best year. With more video capable handsets in the US market including Blackberry, Android and iPhone, there are multiple ways to get your content to the consumers.
Our Halloween content went from being available as downloadable clips on the carrier storefront to multiple platforms and carriers. Now I’m plugging and playing it across applications, downloadable clips, video streams, device manufacturers, as well as broadband and Internet enabled TV’s.
However, it is very slow processes to launch content live and see noticeable results. Patience is an important virtue, but when it finally pays off it’s worth the efforts. Content providers get excited about seeing their brand featured on platforms otherwise inaccessible to them. I’m proud to distribute different types of content into the market and help maximize revenue for our clients. For instance, check out my company’s newest Horror App! Just search Deadly Scary TV from your iphone, Android or Blackberrry app store. It’s guaranteed to leave chills down your spine!
